words applies equally to video. In this advanced
time of Internet technologies, using videos on
line has become practical, both in terms of
technology and cost. Videos provide an
additional cognitive understanding angle that
can't be achieved by text articles alone. And
videos can be viewed by the entire family
together.
Whether the
video is being utilized by a care taker, family
member, the public for understanding, or the
veteran who is working through his or her PTSD
recovery, the experience of actually watching
and hearing other veterans and family members
share their experience and expertise brings a
sense of reality for recover and hope for the
future. And since the videos or video links can
be shared via email, the community awareness
factor added to the direct veteran benefit is
